More than a decade ago, the founders of Daggerwing were all driving strategy for clients of an Omnicom CRM agency. Then a client asked this senior team to go beyond traditional agency services and "consult" on how to restructure marketing internally to stop the decline in market share (it worked). Another client consulting request followed. And another.

So The Daggerwing Group was born - a hands-on marketing consultancy for clients and their agencies, focused on overcoming the barriers to better business and financial results that keep Chief Marketing Officers awake at night. Clients included national retailers and telecom firms, automakers, computer technology firms and healthcare providers.

Daggerwing's breadth of consulting services extended to creating and managing complex integrated marketing plans - involving numerous internal client departments, agency partners and third-party vendors. It wasn't long before clients started asking if Daggerwing could start adding more agency services - including brand positioning, creative and online/offline relationship marketing... in addition to continuing to drive more efficiency and effectiveness in integrated campaigns. So we became an agency, again.
